Terms of use and privacy

Version 2026-08-12

This explains what data of yours we keep, what we use it for, and what you can do about it. It is written to be understood.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is the owner of this platform [PENDING: legal name, address and country]. For any question about your data, write to [PENDING: privacy contact email].

What we keep

What you enter when signing up: first name, last name, email, mobile phone and country. Optionally, the regions, leagues and teams you choose to follow. We also keep a record of what you contribute to the platform and the ratings you give, along with the date.

What we use it for

To run your account and sign you in; to register you for tournaments and manage that registration; to invite you to tournaments and sporting events on the platform; to tell you about changes to the service or to these terms; to publicly attribute the data you contribute to your username; and to contact you if someone questions data you entered. We do not use your data for any other purpose without asking you first.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use it to advertise products or services unrelated to this platform. We do not send you third-party commercial promotions. The messages you will receive are about the platform, its tournaments and its events, and nothing else.

Why we may use it

We use your data because you consented when signing up, and because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for. You may withdraw your consent at any time: that does not affect what we did before you withdrew it, but it may leave you unable to use parts of the platform.

What is publicly visible

Your display name appears next to the data you contribute, because the platform relies on being able to tell who entered what. Your email and phone are NEVER shown publicly: we use them to contact you and to reach you if data you entered is questioned.

Where it is stored

The platform runs on cloud infrastructure providers, so your data may be stored and processed on servers outside your country, including the United States. We choose providers offering contractual guarantees equivalent to those of your home jurisdiction.

How long

For as long as your account is active. If you delete it, we delete your contact details. Sporting data you contributed (results, squads, statistics) remains, because it is part of the historical record of a tournament and does not belong to you alone, but it stops being linked to your identity.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to the use of, or export your data in a reusable format. You may also withdraw your consent. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days. If you believe we handled it poorly, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Minors

You must be 16 or older to create an account. If you are younger, a parent or guardian must create and manage it. A player profile for a minor may exist, created by a third party (a coach, an organiser), because it is part of a tournament squad: in that case there is no account, and the person or their guardian may request correction or removal at any time.

Changes

If we change these terms substantially, we will tell you and ask you to accept them again. We store which version you accepted and when, precisely so we can tell who accepted what.
